Hi everyone~ I am not feeling very well these past couple of days, so here is just a quick swatch (Please excuse the tip wear, I took this a couple of days after). OPI Dating a Royal is a gorgeous royal blue that goes on smoothly much like other OPIs. I am wearing 3 thin coats on my nails and it took that many to be opaque. This color matches well with a nice top and a pair of jeans. Such an elegant color! Thanks for reading!

Canucks nail art
It is the 40th anniversary of the Vancouver Canucks. I got to watch the first season opener (as a volunteer!), and although the boys played a good game, it was unfortunate that we lost in SO. For the occasion, I painted my nails in the Canuck colors! I used 2 coats of OPI Dating a Royal, CND Green Scene, and OPI Alpine Snow for the colors and they worked perfectly. For the finer details, I used ArtClub Black and Sally Hansen nail art pen 01. They have another game tonight and hopefully the results will make me happier. Go Canucks Go! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in Canada J

Glamorous Sparkles
I love sparkles and if you ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you the same. Therefore, the last time I was in a nail supply store, I bought a bottle of fine silver glitter to use for my nails in the future. This is my first attempt in using sparkles as tips, so feel free to give me any suggestion! I used OPI Bubble Bath as my base coat. The formulation is good and I used 2 coats in the picture because I wanted it to look more natural. The first picture shows my left hand, in which I dipped my nail into the glitter pot and shook off the excess. The second picture shows my right hand, in which I painted the glitter on with my clear polish (1 layer of glitter). Which one do you like more?

Ruffian
You could use French guide tips for this as well if you want a more consistent look, just reverse them and stick them on. Otherwise, practice will make perfect freehand! Will you try a Ruffian manicure?
PS - Also, going along with fashion, Burberry has just released a new makeup line. I have read great things about the whole line and decided to try it out. I ended up buying a lipstick and cannot resist showing you (Blush No.09). It glides on effortlessly, super moisturizing, and the packaging is adorable. The tube has a magnetic cover and even the lipstick itself is imprinted with the famous Burberry plaid. Who could ask for more?

Bad Fairy
Here is the second polish from MAC Venomous Villains line that I got. Bad Fairy is a gorgeous magenta foil polish that has a bronze undertone under the sun at certain angles. It applied beautifully and took 3 coats to be opaque. I am absolutely in love with this colour and may have to run and buy another one for fear of using it up (although that RARELY happens). What about you readers? Have you tried any polishes out of this line? Which one is your favourite?
Thanks for dropping by J

Mean and Green
PS – I took a picture of the other two makeup products that I love from the line. Pictured above: Truth and Light and Revenge is Sweet
