Dr.'s Remedy Polish

Polish addicts, I tried my first crazy scissors scotch tape mani! What do you think? Today I will be showing you a relatively new brand of polish that is now out on the market so this post will be picture heavy!

Dr.'s Remedy enriched nail polish is a doctor-formulated polish brand that is 3 Free and also contains enriched ingredients to strengthen your nails. It is said to contain tea tree oil, vitamin C & E (which helps make stronger nails), and wheat protein (to increase shine).

The polishes I tried were quite a nice surprise as I did not know what to expect. The formulation was smooth and the colors were nicely pigmented. The dry time on these polishes are excellent, it dries very quickly. The brush on the polish was not bad as it was the right length, but a wider brush would be nice for better control and coverage. The design on the bottle is simple but does the job well. It is a tall square glass bottle with a rubber grip top which is a good because it is a little hard to hold with your less dominant hand. Now on to the pictures!

First up is HEALING Heather Grey which is a very pretty light grey cream color which was opaque in 2 coats. This one is my favourite out of all these.

Next is
DESIRE Dark Brown which is a deep chocolate brown cream which was also opaque in 2. I was surprised at how much I liked this color.

Last is
REVIVE Ruby Red which is a shimmery red color. I had more difficulty with this application and it was less opaque than the other two and did not glide on as nicely but nonetheless it was not streaky.

You can purchase Dr.'s Remedy polishes by clicking here. They are $16/bottle which is on the pricier side, but keeping your nails healthy while having nice colors on is worth the price right? They have a decent selection of colors and VIGOR Violet caught my eye...

These were sent for me to review. All opinions are my own.

  1. I always think the idea of a 'healing' nail polish is funny since we use acetone to remove it. Lets face it, all those vitamins are being swiped away by toxic chemicals upon removal anyways. :P But who can complain if the polish looks great, applies great, and wears great? Wouldn't stop me.
I love the scissor effect. It reminds me of puppet teeth for some reason.

  2. HHG looks lovely and Dark Brown definately caught my eye! I really want some polishes that are healthy and good for my nails instead of ones that are filled with chemicals so this may be a good product to buy *w*
